Aybeniz Ahadova, an employee of the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered a report at a scientific event at the Azerbaijan Cooperation University.

A lecture titled "From archaeological excavation to the laboratory: absolute age determination of historical monuments" was arranged for students pursuing studies in the areas of museums, archival work, and monument preservation by Eldeniz Maharramov, doctor of philosophy in economics, who is the dean of the Marketing and Management Faculty.

Aybeniz Ahadova, a junior researcher at the Institute, presented a slide show with pictures and videos on the subject and discussed how to determine the age of material and culture samples, as well as the current research being done in this area in Azerbaijan. During the presentation, visual aids (animal and human teeth, skull bones, ceramics, remnants of bone and textile, pottery samples, natural quartz, and feldspar samples) were shown to the students. She also provided thorough details on a few recently determined samples.
