The next meeting of the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences was held.

At the beginning of the event, the victims of the genocide were commemorated with a minute of silence on the occasion of March 31- the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis. Then the participants were informed about the policy of genocide, historical and legal realities committed by Armenian nationalists against Azerbaijani people.

Speaking at the meeting, Director General of the Institute, Corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Islam Mustafayev informed participants about the issues of agenda, as well as congratulated the head of the Institute’s laboratory, Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry Hokman Mahmudov on his 60th anniversary and wished him good health and success in his fruitful scientific activity.

Then, a letter sent by UNESCO’s Deputy Director-General for Priority Africa and Foreign Affairs Firmin Eduard Motako to the Permanent Missions of the Organization on Feburary 24 2022, as well as the results of the attestation of employees held at the Institute in 2022 were considered.

At the end of the meeting, doctoral students and dissertators at the Institute of Radiation Problems were attested.
