The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

Opening the meeting, Director General of the Institute, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Islam Mustafayev brought the issues on the agenda to the attention of the participants.

At the beginning of the meeting, 20 employees of the Institute were awarded Honorary Decrees for their scientific, organizational and public activities. Then, scientists of the Institute - Famil Humbatov and Yadigar Jafarov were congratulated on their election as members of the Academy of Eco-Energy.

The sides also exchanged views on the main grant competition of the Science Development Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022, the application of the Institute of Scientific Training of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for master's and doctoral studies.

At the end, the application of the head of the laboratory "Radiation physics of ferroelectrics", doctor of physical and mathematical sciences Rauf Sardarli to become a professor of "Radiation Materials Science" was considered.
