The next session of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems (RPI) under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The General Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Islam Mustafayev, who spoke at the meeting, congratulated the employees on the upcoming December 31 - the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year holiday, and then brought the agenda issues to the attention of the meeting participants.

At the meeting, first of all, the transfer of scientific secretary of the Institute, Musa Nuriyev, to the position of leading scientific worker of laboratory No. 3 and the appointment of a new candidate to the position of scientific secretary were discussed.

Then the employees had been approved for their positions according to the announcement on the website of the Institute - irp.science.az and the secret ballot was held to receive the title of associate professor for Rakhshana Mamishova, an employee of the "Radiation Physics of Semiconductors" laboratory, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics, and Ulviyya Guliyeva , Senior Researcher of the "Environmental Radiation Chemistry" laboratory, Doctor of Chemistry.

In the end, the new issue of the "Journal of Radiation Researches" prepared for publication by the Institute and current issues were discussed.
