The event called "If a woman laughs" was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems

The event called "If a Woman Laughs" was held on the occasion of "March 8 - International Women's Day" in the Institute of Radiation Problems (RPI) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Speaking at the event organized by the Trade Union Organization of the Institute and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, the General Director of RPI, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Islam Mustafayev talked about the role of Azerbaijani women in the socio-political and cultural life of the country and informed the event participants about the women who made important contributions in our history.

Congratulating female employees of the Institute on the occasion of "March 8 - International Women's Day", I. Mustafayev also touched on their scientific and social activities and also called on them to closely participate in international cooperation and to be more active in the promotion of Azerbaijani science.

Then the Executive Director of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Ravan Mehdiyeva talked about youth policy in Azerbaijan and the value given by National Leader Heydar Aliyev to the women of the country. Speaking about the role of young people in the protection and promotion of our national and moral values, R. Mehdiyeva said that love for the Motherland is irrevocable and attachment to national ideology and loyalty to the people are important.

Narmin Guliyeva, the chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute, and Kimyakhanim Bakhishova, senior lab assistant, who spoke later at the event, congratulated the female employees on this day and wished them success in their scientific and social activities.
