The "Young Researcher" competition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev was concluded at the Institute of Radiation Problems (RPI) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Speaking at the awarding ceremony of the competition organized by the Institute's Council of Young Scientists and Specialists and Trade Unions, Director General of RPI, Corresponding Member of ANAS, professor Islam Mustafayev got acquainted with the research works submitted by the participants to the competition and wished them success.

Then, by the decision of the jury of the competition, Namig Heydarov, the head of the Innovative Research Group of the Institute, won the first prize for the work "Development of the stabilization system of military unmanned aerial vehicles", Ilaha Abdullayeva won the second prize for the work "Thermo and magnetothermoelectric properties of the Bi85Sb15 solid solution modified with γ-rays", and Lamiya Sadıgli was awarded the third place for the work "Electrical properties of GaSe layered intercalation mono crystals".

Other young employees of the institute, Ramil Mammadov and Khayala Orujova, were awarded with a certificate for their active participation in the competition.
