An international conference was attended by the scientist from the Institute of Radiation Problems
Professor Teymur Aghayev, who is a Doctor of Chemical Sciences and head of the laboratory "Radiation Chemistry of Heterogeneous Processes" at the Institute of Radiation Problems under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the international conference "Fundamental and applied problems of modern physics" on October 19–21, 2023, in the city of Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. The conference was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and the Physical and Technical Institute and to the 30th anniversary of the Institute of Materials Science. The report "The effect of temperature and γ-quanta on the yield of molecular hydrogen as a result of the decomposition of hexane on the surface of nano-ZrO2 in radiation-catalytic processes" was presented by T. Aghayev at the international conference, which was attended by scientists and specialists from 21 different countries. The participants responded with curiosity to the Azerbaijani scientist's report, and their queries were addressed.
