Today, a solemn event was held on the occasion of Victory Day at the Institute of Radiation Problems of MSE. The event began with the singing of the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and a minute's silence was held in memory of our martyrs who gave us the glorious victory.

In his opening remarks, I. Mustafayev, the institute's general director and corresponding member of ANAS, stated that the Azerbaijani people's will and determination, as well as their nation's economic might, ability to build a modern army, and unity among the people, were crucial elements that guaranteed our nation's victory. He spoke of the Azerbaijani soldier and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, who penned another glorious heroic chronicle of the Azerbaijani people, demonstrating to the world that they are a victorious nation and have achieved a historic victory over the enemy. Next, he expressed his gratitude to the institute's staff members who fought in the Karabakh war. Three of the participants — Ramin Garibov, Samir Mustafayev, and Safa Alakbarli — spoke about their experiences on the front lines during the 44-day war. The institute's executive director, R. Mehdiyeva, spoke at the event about how we have reached the third anniversary of our historic victory with the complete and final restoration of our independence, how the Azerbaijani flag's waving in Khankendi has turned into a celebration of our pride as a nation, and how the continuation of this historic victory is crucial to the state's prestige and future growth. She said that it is the sacred duty of each of us to raise worthy and educated soldiers for the Brave Azerbaijan Army, which is becoming stronger and modernized every day under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief President Ilham Aliyev.

Ph.D. in physics Bakhtiyar Najafov, who began his first employment in Khankendi after graduating from the university, discussed the realities of that era at the event's conclusion.

At the event, it was decided to organize an excursion of young people to "Victory Park" on November 7.
