      The Institute of Radiation Problems held the presentation of the textbook entitled "Radiation Safety", which was created with the assistance of teachers from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. Teachers and heads of departments from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, and Azerbaijan Technical University participated in the event in addition to the Institute's staff members. In his introductory speech, Islam Mustafayev, Corresponding Member of ANAS and Director General of the Institute, briefed the attendees on the book's contents and its intended audience: students and engineering and technical specialists enrolled in higher technical schools. He stated that the book was written in compliance with the teaching standards recognized by the Ministry of Science and Education for this specialization, and it is the first textbook approved by the Ministry for this subject. The inclusion of the activities of renowned Azerbaijani scientist Mirkazim Malikzade on this subject is one of the textbook's distinctive features. The authors of the textbook, - Professor S. Rasulov, L. Kazimova, and A. Mikayilova, expressed their opinions about its separate sections and responded to questions and suggestions from the audience.
