An event dedicated to "March 1 - International Civil Defense Day" was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In his introduction speech, Taleh Mammadov, the head of the Civil Defense Headquarters, discussed the institution's history, responsibilities, and roles within it.

Subsequently, R. Mehdiyeva, the institute's executive director, spoke about radiation safety and the actions that should be performed to safeguard against and remove any potential radiation risk.

Practical instruction on the usage of anti-gas and other devices was given at the event. The questions from the staff were addressed at the conclusion of the event.
