      A commemorating event on the occasion of “March 31 - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis” was held in the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS. The event was declared opened by the director of the Institute, Oktay Samadov. The memory of the martyrs was remembered by a minute's silence. Then, Oktay Samadov talked about “March 31 - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis” and atrocities committed against the Azerbaijan people. In the event, Deputy Director on scientific works, PhD in physics, associate professor Ravan Mehdiyeva gave an information about the researches carried out in the Guba cemetery. And she talked about her memories of the genocide, and shared her impressions with the event participants.
      The leading researcher, PhD in chemistry Yadigar Jafarov talked about our historical memory, the atrocities of Armenians to Azerbaijani people.
      Then, Dr. in chemistry, correspondent member of ANAS, Professor Islam Mustafayev also shared his memories about the events and advised well to know our history.
