Science Day in our country will be celebrated at a high level
As known, the Day of Science in the Republic of Azerbaijan was established by decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated April 9, 2018. It was decided to celebrate this remarkable day every March 27 every year.
In 2019, for the first time in the country, the Scientific Research Coordination Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan adopted a Plan of Action to hold the Science Day at a high level. In accordance with the Action Plan, a number of activities will be held in the scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS, including the Lankaran and Sheki regional scientific centers. Conferences, seminars, lectures and “round tables” on current issues of modern science, including exhibitions and “Open Door” days are scheduled.
In addition, the distinguished scholars will be awarded the Honorary decrees of scientific departments, scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS, winners of competitions on "Young Women in science", "The best scientific-popular work", "Master-2019" and other nominations will be announced by the Presidium.
