The results of the "Young Women in Science" competition unounced

According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated April 9, 2018, the “Science Day” was established in the country. In accordance with this decree, it was decided to celebrate this significant day on March 27 annually. In connection with the "Science Day" Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences were organized a competition.
The results of the competition "Young Women in Science", which was held among young women scientists of ANAS were published. The purpose of the competition, held in accordance with the Decree of the President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh dated February 5, 2019 is to stimulate the scientific activities of young women, who work at ANAS and conduct research works, covering current and priority areas of modern science and their scientific achievements.
The results of the competition "Young Women in Science", which was held among young women scientists of ANAS were published. The purpose of the competition, held in accordance with the Decree of the President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh dated February 5, 2019 is to stimulate the scientific activities of young women, who work at ANAS and conduct research works, covering current and priority areas of modern science and their scientific achievements.
To participate in the contest were nominated 69 young women. The presented works were evaluated by the Expert Commission, established in accordance with the order of ANAS Presiden. After the works were seriously analyzed by the commission, the relevant conclusions about the candidates were presented to the head of ANAS, after which the winners were identified.
So, according to the results of the competition “Young Women in Science”, the 1st place was awarded to Hamail Adigozalzade, Ph.D. in Astronomy, and full-time doctoral student of the Institute of Philosophy of ANAS for the preparation of doctors of science, Ph.D. in political science Gunel Malikli, II place - head of the laboratory of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS, Ph.D. in Mathematics Sabina Sadigova, Senior Researcher of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry after Academician Murtuza Nagiyev of ANAS, Ph.D. in Chemistry Sevinj Osmanova, Leading Researcher of the Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi of ANAS, Ph.D. in Philology Shabnam Hasanli-Garibova, head of the International Relations Department of the Institute of History after Abbasgulu Aga Bakikhanov of ANAS, Ph.D. in history Lamia Gafarzade and III place - Senior Researcher of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes after academician Yusif Mamedaliyev ANAS, Ph.D. in Chemistry Sabina Ahmadova, Senior Researcher of the Institute of Geography after academician Hasan Aliyev of ANAS, Ph.D. in Geography Samira Alakparova, Researcher of the Institute of Oriental Studies after academician Ziya Bunyatov of ANAS, Ph.D. in Philology Ulkar Bakhshiyeva, Senior Researcher of the Institute of Bioresources of Nakhchivan Division of ANAS, Ph.D. in in Biology Afruz Nasirova.
Note that, the winners will be awarded diplomas and cash prizes in the amount of 3000 manat for I place, 2000 manat for II place and 1500 manat for III place.
