The IV course students of the Physics faculty of the Baku State University having practise at the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

On the first day of the experiment, the students were told about the establishment and development of the Institute, as well as the workers informed the students about the works that carried out in fundamental researches. The students were also informed about the scientific activities of institute laboratories, international relations, projects that implemented to encourage young scientists to science.The goal of a one-month course is to experimentally deepen the knowledge gained by students during the period of higher education, and to attract the interest of science to talented young people and to involve them in future research at the master's and doctorate levels.

It should be noted that during the practise period, the students were trained in the laboratory of "Radiation Physics of Non-Regular Solid State", "Radiation Physics of Polymers and Electroactive Composite Materials", "Radiation Physics of Seqnetoelectrics", "Radiation Physics of Semiconductors" and "Physics and Chemistry of Environmental Factors" learn the working principles of equipment , get acquainted with the carried out scientific researches and take an active part in the course of the experiments.
