An event titled "Heydar Aliyev and youth in science"
An event titled "Heydar Aliyev and youth in science" dedicated to the 96th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev was held jointly by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists (CYSS) and the co-ordination council of ANAS professors.
The event was attended by young scientists of the Academy's scientific institutions and organizations, as well as professors of ANAS.
Doctor of Philosophy in Physics, Associate Professor Famin Salmanov, chairman of ANAS CYSS spoke on "Heydar Aliyev and modern youth in science". He said that a number of steps were taken by the nationwide leader to form an intellectual generation and that Azerbaijani youth were sent to study in many countries around the world. He noted that for the first time in 1996 by the initiative of the great leader Heydar Aliyev was held the Forum of Independent Youth of Azerbaijan, and the Day of Azerbaijan Youth was established in our country.
The event was also attended by professors of ANAS - Rovshan Bandaliyev, Ilgar Mammadov, Aynur Sabitova an d others.
