Dissertant of the Institute of Radiation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS) participated in the International Conference on "International Emission Inventory" in Dallas, Texas, United States.

Devoted to "Inventory of Gas and Pollutant Emissions That Are Contributed to the Atmospheric Air" organized by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Organization for Contemporary Scientific and Political studies speaking at the conference, S.Hasanov gave a wide report on "Contribution of Azerbaijani motor vehicles in air pollution and measures to reduce pollution". In his speech, the speaker informed the participants of the conference on the development of automobile transport in Azerbaijan over the past 10 years, the composition and volume of emissions, the work carried out in this field, the policy of road transport and emissions reduction.

At the same time, Hasanov informed the participants of the conference about the situation in the country related to air pollution and the commitments undertaken by the country to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The participants were enthusiastic about the COPERT-4 program addressed to the reporter after the presentation, mainly used for vehicle emissions assessment, as well as questions were answered about the determination and methodology of emission distribution maps in Sumgait.
