An employee of the Institute participated in an international meeting held by AEBA
Head of International Relations Department of the Institute of Radiation Problems of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), PhD in Physical and Mathematical Sciences Ibrahim Kabulov participated in an international meeting that was held by the International Atomic Energy Agency (AEBA). 22 delegates from 10 countries participated in a regional training course on "Planning basic ideas for the physical protection of radioactive materials", held at the Rosatom Technical Academy in Obninsk, Russia.
In the meeting that devoted to the aim of used and preserved radioactive materials to determine the safety of physical introduction of modern requirements experts from AEBA and other leading countries including US, Canada, Pakistan, Russia have informed the participants about the work in this field and answered the questions which interest them.
Speaking at the event, I.Kabulov informed the participants about the work that carried out in the field of strengthening physical security in Azerbaijan and answered the questions that interest them.
During the training, the participants have done different tasks.
At the meeting, the participants were divided into working groups to discuss their future security cooperation with the AEBA and the recommendations were eventually submitted to the secretariat of the meeting. At the end of the training, participants were given certificates.
