The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Radiation Problems of (ANAS) was held.

Speaking at the meeting, Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ogtay Samadov familiarized the participants with the agenda items.

At the meeting the issues related to holding doctoral and doctoral exams at the Institute and the establishment of examinations committees, approval of doctoral students, as well as attestation of masters were touched upon.

Then a presentation was discussed to senior scientist of the Institute’s “Radiation Chemistry of Heterogeneous Processes”, doctor of Philosophy in Physics Sevinj Zellabdin Malikova`s recommendation to give her the title of associate professor. The issue of National Information System "Scientific Personnel", which was created to determine the scientific personnel potential of the Republic of Azerbaijan was considered at the meeting. It is noted that currently the Scientific Personnel Information System website (http://elmikadr.science.az) is posted in the science.az domain.

At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed the priority directions of the “Development program of ANAS 2020-2025”, as well as articles that was presented for publication.
