The students whom led by our scientist won the competition

The students whom led by the scientist of the Institute of Radiation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan won the IX Republican competition “Tomorrow’s scientists”.

At the Republican Contest, under the leadership of the staff of the RPI - doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor Rovshan Khalilov and associate professor Aygun Nasibova, the 10th grade students of Baku European High School, Isgandar Yusifzade and Nigar Alizadeh was awarded the second place in the nomination of “Medicine and Health” according to the project of “The usage of iron oxide nanoparticles in cancer therapy: Hyperthermia and Immunotherapy”.

At the competition 10th grade students from Shamkir-Baku Oxford School in Biology Rashad Nagdiyev and Shamil Aliyev, were also awarded third place on the “Biology of Juniperus communis and its future usage in the field of biomedical medicine” that prepared under the guidance of Rovshan Khalilov.

It should be noted that the presented scientific research works are characterized by newness, innovation, possibilities and modernity and will play an important role in shaping the future scientific activities of the young generation.
