The Azerbaijani scientist participated in the International Conference in the United States

Head of “Radiochemistry” Laboratory of the Institute of Radiation Problems of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Doctor of Chemical Sciences Khagani Mammadov participated in the 4th CCE-2020 International Conference on “Catalysis and Chemical Engineering” in Los Angeles, USA.

The conference, which was attended by leading scientists from the world's leading scientific and educational centers, discussed the latest developments in catalysis and chemical engineering, as well as exchanged views on promising projects, topical issues of engineering and technology.

Mammadov made a presentation on the topic: "Participation of natural radionuclides in environmental processes, study of heavy metals and radionuclide contaminated soil and organic wastewater treatment methods" and it has attracted the great interest of leading scientists and specialists from leading countries such as the US, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Russia, Japan, India and Hungary. At the end of the conference, honorary certificate was presented to the presentation.

During the conference, Professor of Emory University (Atlanta, California, USA), Nobel Laureate Craig L. Hill, Professor of Stanford University (Stanford, California) Michal Bajdich, NSF-CREST Bioenergy Center at NC AT NC (Greensboro, North Carolina, USA) Professor Debashis Cuila, Professor of the Al-Farabi Gazakh National University (Kazakhstan) Gulmira Yar-Muhamedova and Professor Yvan Jesus Olortiga Asencios, Professor of the Federal University of San Paolo, and they exchanged views on the topic of lectures with other well-known scholars and the article that published by H. Mammadov in the scientific literature of the US period, and discussed future cooperation.
