A group of American and British scientists using the experimental vaccine ChAdOx1-nCoV-19 protected macaques from coronavirus pneumonia. After that, her tests on volunteers began. Russian virologist Anatoly Altstein believes that the achievements of Western scientists do not yet mean an imminent victory over COVID-19 - a full-fledged vaccine for people will appear at least six months later. In addition, it will take time to organize its mass production.
