A meeting on the establishment of the new composition of a new Council of Young Scientists and Specialists was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

At the beginning of the meeting, Director of the Institute of Radiation Problems, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Islam Mustafayev spoke about the role of youth in science and stressed the importance of more active youth.

Then, the chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics, Associate Professor Famin Salmanov informed the participants about the activities of the Council.

At the end of the meeting, a new 11-member composition of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS was determined. According to the results of the voting, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics Gunel Imanova was elected the new chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the IRP.
