Senior researcher of the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Elchin Huseynov won the "Victory Award in Science - 2021" competition. Thus, the Science Development Foundation (SDF) under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) organized the "Victory Award in Science - 2021" competition in connection with the World Science Day and November 8 - Victory Day. According to the results of the competition, Elchin Huseynov was awarded first place for his scientific work "Thermal stability and heat flux investigation of neutron-irradiated nanocrystalline silicon carbide (3C – SiC) using DSC spectroscopy."

It should be noted that the competition was launched in October 2021. Examination of scientific works included in the competition was held from October 12 to November 5. The experts noted the high scientific level of the works.
