The main activities of the department are:
- the organization of the scientific activity and educational process of post-graduates and master’s students, receiving their documents, writing abstracts, and preparing individual work plans.
-provisioning the PhD entrance examination and doctoral examinations of post-graduates on the specialty subject.
- the training of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff on the programs of master’s and PhD.
- the organization of the attestation of doctoral students and doctoral candidates and the conduct of the doctoral examinations.
- the realization of master education, participation of masters at courses on subjects envisaged in the curriculum, and organization of specialty exams during terms.
- the preparation and defense of master’s theses.

The main scientific results of the department are:
- organization of the PhD entrance examinations on specialty subjects.
- attestation and doctoral examination of post-graduates have been conducted.
- participation of post-graduates and young scientists in national and international programs and projects has been provided.
- specialty examinations of students who are doing master’s degrees have been conducted.
