Full and corresponding members of ANAS, chief and executive directors, scientific secretaries of scientific institutions of FRTEB, heads of education, public relations and international relations departments were participated in the event.

At the beginning of the meeting, the memories of our compatriots who lost their life in terrible Khojaly genocide committed in 1992 was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Then, Vice-President of ANAS, Chairman of the General meeting of FRTEB, academician Rasim Aliguliyev made a speech and drew attention to the tasks arising from the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on declaring 2022 the "Year of Shusha". Emphasizing the historical essence, cultural and moral value and strategic importance of the order, academician Rasim Aliguliyev said that in connection with the "Year of Shusha" the Department of Humanities prepared a relevant Action Plan, taking into account the proposals of other scientific departments and organizations of ANAS. He said that important tasks have been set for scientific institutions.

Acting President of ANAS, first Vice-President, chief director of the Institute of Physics, academician Arif Hashimov speaking at the meeting, he informed the new structure of the Institute of Physics, the new composition of the Scientific Council of this scientific institution, as well as information related to other scientific-organizational issues.

Then, the issue of participation of FRTEB scientific institutions in the 74th International Astronautics Congress to be held in Baku in 2023 was discussed at the meeting of the department. Sharing his views on the issue, Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council of FRTEB, academician Javad Abdinov recalled that in 1973, the 24th International Astronautics Congress was held in Azerbaijan.

The academician also recalled the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the establishment of the Organizing Committee for the 74th International Astronautical Congress in Baku in 2023. He expressed confidence that holding the second international congress in Azerbaijan, one of the most prestigious events in the world, would create invaluable opportunities for the development of the space industry in our country, expanding cooperation with the international space community and the International Astronautical Federation. He stressed the need for the close participation of FRTEB's scientific institutions in this congress.

Academician Rasim Aliguliyev informed about the establishment of cooperation between the scientific institutions of FRTEB and some foreign countries. He invited FRTEB scientists and specialists, especially young people, to make proposals on multidisciplinary research in priority areas, implementation of joint projects, as well as exchange of personnel and experience with countries such as India, Poland, Pakistan and Slovakia and participate in relevant programs.

The scientific secretary of the service of the vice-president of ANAS, associate professor Hikmet Guliyev informed about the state of fulfillment of the tasks arising from the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev "On the celebration of the 100th anniversary of prominent scientist Lotfi Zadeh" dated January 25, 2021.

Information on the new structure of the scientific institution headed by the Director General of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, academician Ali Abbasov, the results of the elections to the post of laboratory director of the institute, postponement of full-time doctoral student Bayaz Bagirzade, as well as the information on the topic of the dissertation of Vugar Hagverdiyev on the preparation of the doctor of philosophy and the change of the scientific supervisor submitted.

Corresponding member of ANAS, Director General of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics Misir Mardanov in his speech said that the monograph "Ridge functions and their applications in neural networks" was published by the American Mathematical Society.

The rapporteur stressed that the 265-book monograph series published by the American Mathematical Society since 1943 has not yet included the name of a scientist working in the Caucasus, Central Asia or any Muslim country.

He also informed about the petition to perpetuate the name of prominent mathematician, academician Ibrahim Ibrahimov and the 70th anniversary of Tamilla Hasanova, Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics.

Academician Fikret Aliyev presented the decision on the 65th anniversary of the well-known mathematician, corresponding member of ANAS Vagif Guliyev.

Chief director of ANAS Radiation Problems Instutition (RPI), corresponding member of ANAS Islam Mustafayev spoke about the results of elections on the position of laboratory director.

At the end, an extensive exchange of views was held on the solution of various current issues facing FRTEB and its scientific institutions.
