The next session of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems (RPI) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Speaking at the meeting, the Director General of the Institute, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Islam Mustafayev brought the issues on the agenda to the attention of the meeting participants.

The results of 2022 and the tasks ahead in the current year were discussed at the event. At the event, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor, Ravan Mehdiyeva for her effective scientific and scientific-organizational activity in the past year, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Rahim Madatov for his active participation in the organization of the attestation of scientific workers, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Muslum Gurbanov, for his effective scientific activity, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Khagani Mammadov for carrying out ecological monitoring in liberated areas and radioecological assessment of the area, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics, Associate Professor Musa Nuriyev for his effective scientific and organizational activity for many years and Doctor of Physics, Associate Professor Farid Ahmadov for his scientific and practical activities, as well as the important scientific results in 2022 was awarded with the Honorary Decree of the Institute.

Scientific research plans for 2023 were discussed at the meeting of the Scientific Council, as well as attestation of the employees of the Institute, measures to strengthen labor discipline and other current issues.
