The students led by the scientists of the institute are among the winners this year as well

Students led by scientists of the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) won the XI Republican competition "Scientists of Tomorrow".

Two projects developed by students under the leadership of the head of the laboratory of the Institute, Doctor of Physical Sciences Matanat Mehrabova and a leading researcher, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology Aygun Nasibova were successful in the competition.

Thus, the project "New generation solar energy photocopiers" presented by Salman Vahabov and Farhad Karimbeyli, 10th grade students of the Young Talents Lyceum at Baku State University, won the 2nd place in physics, The project "The role of bioindicators in assessing the environmental condition of plants" presented by the 9th grade student of school No. 247 Havva Gambarova and 9th grade student of the Young Talents Lyceum Jamal Akhundov won the second place in ecology.

It should be noted that the presented scientific research works are distinguished by novelty, innovation, application opportunities and modernity, and will be of great importance in the proper formation of future scientific activities of the younger generation.
