An event dedicated to "March 8 - International Women's Day" was held at the institute

An event dedicated to "March 8 - International Women's Day" was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) jointly organized by the Trade Union and the Women's Council.

In his speech, I.Mustafayev praised Mahsati Ganjavi, Sara Khatun, Khurshidbanu Natavan, prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva and other Azerbaijani women known in socio-political, socio-economic, scientific and cultural spheres for their wisdom, business acumen and purity, elegance and loyalty.

First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, who has gained a place in the hearts of our people in the near future with her progressive activity and caring attitude, as well as important contributions to the preservation and promotion of our national and moral values and cultural and historical heritage.

Later, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics Gunel Imanova and Master of the Institute Kimyakhanim Bakhishova were awarded diplomas by the Trade Union and the Women's Council "for active scientific and public activities in 2021."

At the end, the Trade Union of the Institute presented gifts to female employees on the occasion of the holiday.
