A meeting was held with representatives of the Faculty of Specialization of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction at the Institute of Radiation Problems
At the Institute of Radiation Problems, a meeting was held with production representatives of the Faculty of Specialization of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, who are trained in the field of radiation safety. Islam Mustafayev, General Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, welcomed the guests and gave detailed information about the research works and the important scientific results obtained in the institution headed by him. Later, Academician Adil Garibov gave information about radiation safety, radiation technologies and radiation-control devices, as well as implemented and planned works in the field of nuclear energy development in the republic.
Furthermore, in order to familiarize the attendees with the laboratory equipment, an info tour was organized with “Energy-intensive radiation processes”, “Environmental radiation chemistry”, “Radioecology” and “Radiochemistry and radioprotectors” laboratories.
The meeting was attended by C. Imamaliyeva, the dean of the Faculty of Advanced Studies and lecturers of the course.
