The Institute of Radiation Problems of the Ministry of Science and Education hosted the next scientific seminar on December 14, 2023. "Synthesis of high-purity ammonium salts for low-background measurements; sorption of salt solutions of heavy metals to ion-exchange elastomers" was the topic of Mirzayev Nijat's seminar talk, a doctorate student at the institute.

The report was extensively discussed at the seminar, which was attended by scientists from the institute's chemical science department. Nijat Mirzayev responded to questions regarding different scientific research methodologies, the theoretical underpinnings of the measurements, and the obtained results. A PhD student was also advised to conduct more in-depth and detailed analyses in future research pertaining to the synthesis of ammonium salts.
