      In 11.12.2015 national leader Heydar Aliyev’s Remembrance Day was held in the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS. The director of the Institute, Dr.in phys.-math., professor Oktay Samadov declared the meeting open with an introductory speech. A one-minute silence in memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev was observed. Then the deputy director of the institute on scientific works, PhD in phys.-math., associate professor Ravan Mehdiyeva delivered speech on national leader Heydar Aliyev’s unprecedented services in the history of Azerbaijan and importance and support shown by him to the development of science. It was mentioned that, the historical figure Heydar Aliyev’s political path is successfully continued by the Head of our State Ilham Aliyev. R.Mehdiyeva also spoke about the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s speech at the general meeting devoted to 70th anniversary of ANAS before Azerbaijani scientists and noted a number of points. She stated that, scientific research works should be in priority directions and of innovative nature.
      The director of the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS, Dr.in phys.-math., professor Oktay Samadov concluded the meeting stating that, the founder of our today’s success, the great leader Heydar Aliyev’s name will always live in the hearts of the Azerbaijani people.
