Young scientists of the RPI have visited the Czech Republic

Young scientists from the Department of Business and Institute of Radiation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan made a report at a seminar in the Czech Republic on June 18-21.

The doctor of philosophy and physics Farid Ahmadov, the doctor of philosophy and physics Samir Suleymanov, and the doctor of philosophy and physics Qadir Ahmadov took part at the seminar and they discussed the work that will be done together in 2018-2023 with Director of the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics of Czech Technical University I.Shtekl and S.Pospisil. A number of diodes that developed by our scientists have been investigated too and the recording performance of the scintillator has been verified.

As part of the seminar on June 20, in the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics was presented with extensive information on silicon-based photoelectron amplifiers that developed by Azerbaijani scientists and their application areas.

The information that presented was highly appreciated by the seminar participants, and within the next 5 years it was agreed to study radiation resistance of MSFD diodes, to analyze the structure of MSFD diodes, to develop electronic modules for MSFD diodes, and also participate in international practices together.
