Azerbaijani scientists participated in the AEBA Ministerial Conference
Academician-Secretary of the Department of Physical-Mathematical and Technical Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Nazim Mammadov and director of The RPI, correspondent member of ANAS Oqtay Samadov participated in Conference of Ministers "Nuclear Science and Technology: solution of new and modern development issues" that was organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (AEBA).
The delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan was headed by the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, correspondent member of ANAS Novruz Guliyev at the conference that attended by 60 ministers from around the world. The important role of nuclear science, technology and innovation in modern environment protection and sustainable development has been widely discussed at the conference. Director of the National Nuclear Research Center of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Adil Qaribov, and The Head of the Center for Sterilization Zaur Khalilov attended in this Conference.
