Head of Laboratory of the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Islam Mustafayev participated in Sub-Regional Seminar in Chisinau, Moldova.

I.Mustafayev reported on the seminar within the framework of the United Nations Environment Program on the topic of "Environment and Health". I.Mustafayev spoke about environmental projects implemented by international organizations in our country and the main results of this activity. At the seminar, more than 20 reports from representatives of various spheres were listened, priorities for future activities in the field of environment and health care were discussed.

The event was attended by experts of the Economic Commission for Europe, the Ministry of Environment and Health of Azerbaijan, Moldova and Georgia, as well as more than 50 representatives of science and education.
