The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems (RPI) of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

First, the report on the results of scientific research conducted by the Department of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences of ANAS in 2021 was discussed at the event.

Then the relevant Decision of the Presidium of ANAS on the 70th anniversaries of the head of the laboratory of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Ogtay Samadov and doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor Rovshan Khalilov was heard at the meeting, the content of scientific sessions dedicated to the anniversaries was discussed.

At the end of the meeting, there was an exchange of views in connection with elimination of restrictions applied with regard to tightening of the special quarantine regime, the abolition of restrictions applied in the work regime of ANAS, as well as about the promotion of the employee of the Institute's "Radiation Chemistry of Heterogeneous Processes" laboratory, Doctor of Physical Sciences, Associate Professor Nushaba Hajiyeva to the position of senior researcher and awarding a scientific degree of associate professor to the employee of the Laboratory of Radiochemistry and Radio Protectors, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Sevil Mammadli.
