The report-election meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists was held at the institute
A report-election meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) was held. Speaking at the meeting, the chairman of the Institute GAMSH, Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry Ulviya Guliyeva reported on the work done during the reporting period and the achievements of young scientists.
Afterwards, Director General of the Institute of Radiation Problems, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Islam Mustafayev greeted young scientists and specialists of the Institute, as well as guests attending the meeting. He gave detailed information about the history and activities of the institute, its achievements, international cooperation, human resources. Touching upon the problems faced by young scientists and specialists in the process of their scientific activities, I. Mustafayev gave his recommendations to the youth and wished them success.
Speaking at the meeting, the Executive Director of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Ravan Mehdiyeva spoke about the material and technical base of the Institute and future prospects, as well as the active activities of young people.
Then Elmir Babayev, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry, Ayshan Farajova, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Information Technologies, Tarlan Yelmarli, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry and other speakers spoke about the active scientific and social activities of young scientists, as well as the tasks ahead.
At the meeting, a voting was held on the chairman and new members of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Radiation Problems. According to the results of the voting, Mammadov Ali, junior researcher, was elected to the Young Scientists and Specialists Department of the RPI.
Speaking at the end of the event, Ali Mammadov thanked for the confidence and said he would always work hard to justify this confidence.
