The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute was held

The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Radiation Problems (RPI) of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

At the meeting, the dear souls of our martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of our Motherland were remembered with a minute of silence.

Speaking at the meeting, the Director General of the Institute, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Islam Mustafayev brought the issues on the agenda to the attention of the meeting participants.

At the event, first of all, the preparation of annual reports for the Institute and issues of labor discipline and monitoring carried out in our liberated territories, Kalbajar zone, were considered.

Then, in accordance with clauses 2.2 and 2.3 of the “working order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan” approved by the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 10, 2017, the preparation of proposals for the work plan of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2023, the duties of ANAS in connection with the implementation of the Action Plan for the “establishment of a green energy zone in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan in2022- 2026”, as well as the issues regarding the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 28, 2022 on some measures related to the "improvement of management in the field of science and education in the Republic of Azerbaijan" were discussed.

At the meeting of the Scientific Council, views were exchanged on the issues of partial changes in the composition of the Scientific Council of the Institute, the contestants announced for the position of senior researcher, the results of admission to doctoral studies and dissertation studies at the institute for 2022, as well as the Conference "Radiation technologies and radiation safety" to be held this year.

At the end of the meeting, permission to publish the monograph entitled "Radiation Effects in Wideband Semiconductors" prepared by Rakhshana Mamishova, Ph.D. in Physics, an employee of the Institute's "Radiation Physics of Semiconductors" laboratory, the latest results of the attestation of the Institute's employees held in the current year, and other current issues were discussed.
