The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Radiation Problems (RPI) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held.

The General Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Islam Mustafayev, who gave an introductory speech, brought the issues on the agenda to the attention of the meeting participants.

Firstly, the implementation of the "State Program on the Great Return to the territories freed from the occupation of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and the Action Program for 2023 were discussed at the meeting.

The Executive Director of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Ravan Mehdiyeva mentioned the topics and the work to be done in the aforementioned programs and gave extensive information about the "Posdoctor" Program announced by the United Nuclear Research Institute, the award competition announced by the Economic Cooperation Organization and the competition called "Karabakh is Azerbaijan - 2" announced by the Science Foundation and other Grant competitions.

Further, the attestation of masters students of the Institute, the latest changes in the thesis defenses of the Higher Attestation Commission, and the monograph submitted by Nabi Aliyev, PhD in physics, a senior researcher of the Laboratory of Radiation Physics of Polymers and Electroactive Materials, to receive the title of associate professor were discussed.

At the end, a number of current issues were considered.
