Young scientists from the Institute of Radiation Problems participated in the summer school on "Nuclear Forensics"

Young scientists from the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the Summer School on "Nuclear forensics" organized in Baku on September 13-15.

At the Summer School organized by the Nuclear Research Department of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development, the Science and Technology Center of Ukraine, the Kyiv Nuclear Research Institute, Arzu Mammadli and Chichek Abbasova, employees of the "Innovative ionizing radiation receivers" laboratory of RPI, Ulviyya Aliyeva-Jabbarli, an employee of the "Radiochemistry and Radioprotectors" laboratory, and Husniyya Negati Solut, an employee of the "Radioecology" laboratory, participated.

It should be noted that at the event designed for GUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova) countries, various topics such as "Nuclear Materials and Other Radioactive Substances", "Nuclear Spectroscopy", "Alpha/Beta/Gamma Spectrometer", "Differential Thermal Analysis", "Radiometry and Dosimetry", "Radioecological Monitoring" etc. were examined. In the practical part of the summer school, the search and identification of radioactive sources were carried out by the participants.

At the end, all participants were awarded a certificate.
