Director of the Institute of Radiation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS), corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ogtay Samadov participated in the international conference that was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

O. Samadov took part in the 12th International Conference "Nuclear and Radiation Physics" and the 1st International Conference "Nuclear and Radiation Technologies in Medicine, Industry and Agriculture", jointly organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute of Nuclear Physics, on the second day of the event, Samadov delivered a report that titled "Study of the impedance spectrum and optical properties of a TlInS₂ crystal after implantation with hydrogen and helium ions" he also chaired another meeting of the Conference.

We should note that directions of future cooperation between the Institute of Radiation Problems and the Kazakhstan Institute of Nuclear Physics were widely discussed during the conference.
