Reporting meetings on the point of 2019 were held at the Institute

Reporting meetings of laboratories and departments on the results of research conducted in 2019 at the Institute of Radiation Problems of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) have begun. The first of the meetings, which will be held on the appropriate schedule, took place today.

Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ogtay Samadov acquainted the participants with the current issues which are in the agenda.

Afterwards, the head of the Laboratory “Physics and Chemistry of Harmful Factors”, Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Physics, Professor Famil Humbatov presented the problems, topics and work plan indicators that the laboratory was engaged in during the reporting year. He said that the laboratory had taken samples from the relevant watersheds in 2019, and from the results of the studies 6 results were obtained. This year 5 articles and 2 theses, and 1 article and 6 theses were published by the laboratory staffs. At the end of his speech, F.Humbatov informed the participants about the scientific activities of the laboratory staff, which were reflected in the Google Scolar platform.

Then the head of the laboratory “Radiation chemistry and technology of polymers”, Doctor of Chemical Sciences Shiraz Mammadov informed about the activities of the laboratory this year. He noted that in the reporting year the staff of the laboratory received 5 results and published 4 articles, including 5 theses and 1 of them was published in abroad. In 2019, the laboratory filed 3 patent applications, published 1 book and 1 bibliography, as well as staff of the laboratory were awarded various diplomas and awards.

Later, the head of the Laboratory of “Radiation Physics of Polymer and Electroactive Materials”, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Arif Maharramov provided information on the research and technological processes conducted by the laboratory in the current year. He informed the participants that 14 articles and 14 theses were published. At the end of the meeting, the head of the Laboratory of “Radiation Physics of Segnetoelectrics”, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Rauf Sardarli gave detailed information about the research in the reporting year. R.Sardarli informed about statistical competition on personnel training, international relations and participation in grant projects, he also said that his laboratory had 2 results this year, published 1 book, 9 articles, 5 thesis and 3 of articles were published in abroad.
